This is a program designed to provide a controlled training environment
for thos certified divers who have not had recent diving experience.
This program is recommended for:
1. Those with less than 4 open water dives in the
past year.
2. Those with no open water dives in the past six
months.
3. Those planning dives in an environment which is
new to them.
This program is provided in a swimming pool in MountainView.
Prerequisites:
This
program is for people at least 15 years old.
(Possibility of taking this program for persons from 12 to
14 years old, requires a parent/guardian to be present at all
classroom, pool and ocean sessions. Persons from 15 to 17 requires
parent/guardian permission. (Proof
of
age required).
Forms:
All students need to fill the following forms:
- Waiver
form (PDF file) (to be signed
at the first class)
- Medical
Questionnaire form (PDF file) (IMPORTANT:
read the form in advance. If you are
currently under the
care of a Medical Doctor, or have a pre-existing medical condition that
requires permission from a Physician (for example, if you answered yes
to one of the questions on the medical questionnaire), you will need to
have a signed Medical Release form from your doctor before you can
participate in any in-water activities). If you need a signed Medical
Form from your doctor, take care of that now or you won't be able to
take the class !! To

35$ Swimming pool fee (including scuba diving equipment to use in
the
pool, except the personal gear described below)

What to bring:
A swimsuit and a towel.
Program
content:
The program
includes about 1 hour of classroom teaching and 1 hour of pool
training.
