"I Tried Scuba"
This is an introduction to the fun of scuba diving. This scuba exposure
is provided in a swimming pool.
This
introduction to scuba diving takes
approximately 2 hours to complete.
Prerequisites:
This
certification is for people at least 15 years old.
(Possibility of participating for persons from 12 to
14 years old, requires a parent/guardian to be present at all time.
Persons from 15 to 17 requires
parent/guardian permission. (Proof
of
age required).
All
students have to pass a basic swim skill tests
consisting of:
1. Swim continuously for 25 yards - any
stroke.
Forms:
All students need to fill the following forms:
- Waiver
form (PDF file) (to be signed
at the swimming pool)
- Medical
Questionnaire form (PDF file) (IMPORTANT:
read the form in advance. If
you are currently under the
care of a Medical Doctor, or have a pre-existing medical condition that
requires permission from a Physician (for example, if you answered yes
to one of the questions on the medical questionnaire), you will need to
have a signed Medical Release form from your doctor before you can
participate in any in-water activities). If you need a signed Medical
Form from your doctor, take care of that now or you won't be able to
take the class !! To

What
to bring:
A swimsuit, towel and padlock for use of a locker to the first class.
Goggles are optional.
Class
content:
The class
includes about 1 hour of classroom training and 1 hour of pool
training.
